Luke Carey

I'm an experimental photographer in the sense that I've yet to find my definite field in photography. I'd like to think it's documentary but as yet I've not been lucky (unlucky?) enough to come across the situations I desire for my work i.e. Iraq. My ambition is to become a war photographer, though with the level on censorship in the modern world it's hard to see how anyone could achieve the success of someone like Don McCullen.

So, I started staging images instead, creating representations of my theories of society, documenting society and dabbing my hand in some nature work too seeing as that's how I got into photography in the first place.
